I am going home significa que vas a casa y no necesita to. I am going to my house también es correcto: se centra en ese destino concreto.
¿"Time" también significa "vez"?
Sí. Como incontable significa "tiempo" (I don't have time). Como contable significa "vez" (three times a week, tres veces por semana). Y en What time is it? significa "hora".
¿Cómo sé si un sustantivo es contable?
Si puedes ponerle un número delante (two cars, three friends), es contable. Si no (two moneys, three informations), es incontable.
Cuando no recuerdas una palabra concreta, puedes decir that thing you use to... o there's a way to....
